Judah Down – A graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Creatives program, Judah is a masterfully trained hairdresser and colorist making his mark at the Vancouver Club by opening a second location to his hugely successful JD’s Barbershop in Gastown. Judah’s career began in the mid-90’s, where he apprenticed under one of Vancouver’s top hairdressers, and then later moved on to own and operate the infamously small (140 square foot) and highly esteemed House of Envy in 2001. In 2002, Judah was ready yet again to exercise his entrepreneurial spirit and further build upon his craft by opening JD’s Barbershop - a new school barbershop in Gastown. After experiencing such extreme growth and recognition over the last 2 years, expanding into the Vancouver Club was a fitting and progressive next step in the JD’s Barbershop venture. Judah is enthusiastically anticipating being a part of the Vancouver Club and looks forward to utilizing his skills, knowledge and expertise in such an established and respected environment.
